Canton Fair Phase 2 Showcases Innovations in Building Materials <000000> Furniture

The  second phase  of the  137th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair)  is currently underway, featuring a strong focus on  building materials and furniture , with a dedicated  integrated housing zone  debuting for the first time.

Key Highlights:

1  Expanded Exhibition Space

The  building materials and furniture sector  spans  over 140,000 square

meters , with  6,497 booths  и  3,192 participating enterprises 17

A  new "integrated housing" section  showcases  movable homes, modular houses, and expandable housing solutions , reflecting growing global demand for flexible and sustainable living spaces17.

2. Global Participation

The  import exhibition  includes  262 companies from 29 countries , with  179 from Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) nations , such as  Turkey, Egypt, Vietnam, and the UAE 17.

Notable exhibitors include  Egypt’s K&I (aluminum cookware), Vietnam’s ARTEX (handicrafts), and UAE’s Maxima Group (building materials) 1.

3. Smart & Sustainable Solutions

Chinese manufacturers are leveraging  intelligent manufacturing  to enhance production efficiency and product quality. For example,  Suofeiya Home Collection  (a Guangzhou-based company) utilizes fully automated factories for  custom furniture , improving supply chain stability and reducing labor costs2.

4. Strong International Buyer Interest

Buyers from  ASEAN countries  (China’s largest trading partner) praised the  cost-effectiveness and innovation  of Chinese building materials. A  Vietnamese buyer  noted that "China’s policies are supportive, and product quality improves every year"4.
